Programs
Integration of Batwa and other vulnerable population
The program consists of improving the living conditions of our beneficiary communities who live in poverty. We help them to access health care, good housing, self-development, education, apprenticeship in various trades, loans for small businesses and to fight malnutrition.
Water sanitation and hygiene for all
Access to water, sanitation, and hygiene. Clean water is only part of the overall strategy for lasting health change in rural communities and emergencies. In order to achieve the greatest health benefits and virtually eliminate waterborne diseases, improvements in sanitation and hygiene must also be made alongside access to safe drinking water.
Stories
John Nyandwi, 63
“Before, it was difficult for me to know how to manage my small savings. I learned to save for investment. Now I have already bought two goats. This helps me to make manure for my fields.”
Kevin Ciza, 15
“At school, there were not enough desks for all the students. We sat on the floor and could not take notes. This meant that people dropped out of school because of the poor conditions in which they studied. With the donation of desks to our school, there is a sigh of relief.”
Sarah Irakoze, 26
“I celebrated Christmas with joy. I had nothing to eat or wear. That day, WeCare Foundation visited us and gave us a new smile of joy. Children and parents alike learned good news about Jesus Christ.”
